How to make Herbal Bathing Soap

Ingredients
Herbs
- Mint
- Aloe vera
- Papaya leaves
- Rosemary leaves
- Iodine leaves
- Plectranthus
- Mistyplume
Other
- 380 ml water (with herbal extract; mint, aloe vera, …)
- 400 ml vegetable oil
- 400 ml coconut oil (or, alternatively, more vegetable oil)
- 200 ml shea butter oil
- 158 g caustic soda (sodium hydroxide)
- 20 ml mint perfume (mint oil extract)
Instructions
- Stamp the herbal leaves, mix them with water, and sieve them to obtain 380 ml of water with herbal extract.
- Mix the caustic soda with the herbal water. Careful — it gets hot. Avoid breathing in the fumes.
- Mix the oils together.
- Combine the caustic-soda solution with the oil mix.
- Add the mint perfume.
- Spread the solution evenly into small "baking forms".
- Leave them for 24 hours, then remove them from the form.
- After 6 further days, they are ready.
